Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe Launches 4/14 Window Movement

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia has brought together leaders from the Evangelical Alliance in eight countries, government ministries, theological colleges and other organizations within Zimbabwe that work with children from the ages of 4 to 14 years old. The objective of the Summit is to launch the 4/14 Window Movement which seeks to teach church leaders about the importance of reaching children from the ages of 4 to 14, as a strategic development concern for the transformation of Africa. The Summit is taking place at Crown Plaza from 16 to 17 July in partnership with Compassion International.

Zambia is being represented by Rev. Pukuta Mwanza, the executive director of Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia,  and a board member, Pastor Lawrence Temfwe . "We praise God for this partnership of seeing the church mobilized to embrace children as partners in mission. In our experience, we have noticed that churches that have embraced this objective are also growing fast as children reach out to adults,” stated Pastor Temfwe. In her remarks, Pastor Mary Mumo of Compassion Africa said, "Children need to be yoked to Jesus Christ not to poverty and hunger."
